Just stepped in from our trip back to Aus to get married. Had a fantastic time, but just shy of three week’s wasn’t enough time to get everthing done that we had to do. Hamilton Island was amazing. Pictures to follow in a few days.

Explosions in London
So, a quick post to say we are fine; we’re out of London on holiday.
Footy Show in London
Another swealteringly hot day in London. Andrea and I had tickets to The Footy Show being filmed live in London from Drury Lane Theatre, near Aldwych. We had a large inflatable kanaroo wearing our Aussie flag, which we waved at the camera from our 1st floor Grand Circle seats. Then it was back to work! Loads of fun.
Is this thing on?
Well, we’re almost there. A switch from static content to dynamically generated blog. As you can see, the recent photo sets I have uploaded are listed in the menu to the left, as is the static menu at the top, and the blog categories below. There is still a lot of tidying up to do here.
So, I’ll try and post stuff now and again. Hopefully to tie in with the pictures.
Saint Andrew’s Parish Chursh, Ashingdon, Essex, United Kingdom
The following text is inscribed in the porchway of St Andrew’s Church, Ashingdon (see my pics of the Church here):

In this battle all the nobility of the English race was destroyed.
(Anglo Saxon Chronicle)1020. In this year went the King (Cnut) to Assingdon and Archbishop Wolstan and Thurkyl the Earl, and many Bishops and also Abbots and many Monks and consecrated the Minster of Assingdon
(Anglo Saxon Chronicle)and caused to be built there a Minster of stone and lime for the souls of the men who there were slain, and gave it to one of his Priests whose name was Stigand.
